Dairy Queenhas outdone themselves once again — and just as the weather is starting to heat up again for much of the country.
Several social-media users are reporting that the chain has begun rolling out a dreamsicle-dipped ice cream cone, dubbed the DQ Orange, accordingto a press releasefrom the company addressingtheir recent Free Cone Day.
With a foundation of the chain’s signature soft-serve vanilla ice cream, the DQ Orange dessert features a dipped shell crafted from the well-loved dreamsicle.

Theice cream chainrecently announced a slew of new and returning Blizzard favorites in honor of the upcoming sunny season.
The lineup of flavors, which are now available for a limited time, starts with the new peanut butter puppy chow blizzard. The frozen treat is made of vanilla soft serve and blended with puppy chow bites (cereal mixture), peanut butter and chocolate chunks.
Also making its DQ debut is the Oreo brookie blizzard.

Dairy Queenis gearing up for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with a gravity-defying treat.
On Monday, the fast food chain announced the new Zero Gravity Blizzard to commemorate the historic occasion, which takes place in July, though theBlizzardis available in stores now.
The Blizzard is “made with Oreo cookie pieces, sparkly cosmic swirls and sweet cotton candy topping blended with our world-famous soft serve (ice cream) and topped with colorful galaxy sprinkles,” according to a recent press release.

Sorry Dairy Queen lovers, you’re going to have to wait yet another year to get your free cone.
For the second year in a row, Dairy Queen has cancelled its annual Free Cone Day to avoid large crowds amid the ongoingcoronavirus pandemic, the company announced last week.
The chain traditionally gives out free small vanilla soft-serve cones to customers every year on the first day of spring.
“As spring approaches, we all look forward to Free Cone Day, an event that attracts long lines at our restaurants.
