One Brooklyn resident’s dad has some strong opinions about the latest at-home fitness trend.
Clare O’Connor — who has taken classes at Peloton’s New York City studio and has friends who love the company’s stationary bikes — was contemplating buying one of the exercise machines and decided to tell her mom about the idea,Buzzfeed Newsreported.
While her mom was onboard, her dad had a quite different opinion about her impending purchase (Peloton’s basic bike package starts at $2,245).

The 48-year-old widower posted on Reddit’sAmITheA—— subredditon Sunday, asking for advice on how to handle his 15-year-old daughter’s success as a social media influencer.
The original poster (OP) went on to explain that after “we went through a family tragedy when my first wife passed away three years ago,” this was proving to be a good outlet for his daughter.
