'Doctor Strange' Actress Zara Phythian and Husband Found Guilty of All Child Sex Charges: Reports

Multiple outlets, including theBBCand theNottingham Post, report that Phythian, 37, was convicted on Wednesday at the U.K.’s Nottingham Crown Court of 14 charges of sexual activity with a child between 2005 and 2008, starting when the girl was 13 years old.

According to the spokesperson, no criminal activity is currently linked to the case. No other information was made available. The 33-year-old, who appeared onDoctor Whoin 2018, was reported missing on Sep. 9, police told PEOPLE earlier on Monday. “I am devastated about this situation and I appeal to anyone with information to please come forward to bring our daughter back home safely,” her mom, Yvonne Marimo, said in the release.
