Carol and Michael Whalen, 68 and 72, started the tradition after receiving a greeting card showing their pals' then-1-year-old son in his toy car, according to SWNS. They have been remaking the cards featuring Ryan and Samantha Dominik’s adorable tots — now ages 5 and 2 — ever since.

Bonita and Dex Pelley of St. John’s in Newfoundland were inspired to renew their wedding vows last year after Dex successfully underwent a lifesaving heart transplant. “He proposed to me before the transplant and he said, ‘If I get through this, marry me again,'” Bonita toldCBC Newsat their joy-filled vow renewal ceremony, held at a downtown pub in December.

A missing couple stuck near crocodile-infested waters for 26 hours on a fishing trip gone wrong was saved after they spelled “HELP” in the mud and lit a fire to grab the attention of their rescuers. According to theAustralian Broadcasting Corporation, Shantelle Johnson and Colen Nulgit, along with their puppy, Ace, drove out to Keep River National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia on Sunday for a day of fishing.
