Muncie plane crash A pilot and two people on the ground were seriously injured after a plane crashed in Indiana on Monday morning, authorities said. The accident occurred when a single-engine Piper aircraft en route from Bloomington crashed on approach to Delaware County Regional Airport in Muncie shortly before 10:30 a.m. local time, Tim Baty, the airport’s manager, said. Two people out on a walk on the Cardinal Greenway, a path adjacent to the airport, were injured as was the pilot, who was the only person on the plane, officials said.

PEOPLE obtained a copy of the affidavit against Brian and Allie Anderson, who are alleged to have injected 41-year-old Melissa Vermillion with a fatal dose of methamphetamine. Allie, 42, and Brian, 50, did not call 911 to report the overdose until an hour after Vermillion was dead, it is alleged in the affidavit.
