Country superstar Roy Clark has died. He was 85.
A rep for the Grammy-award winning singerconfirmed to PEOPLEthat Clark succumbed to complications from pneumonia, which he had contracted shortly before his death. He died at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday morning.
According to a press release, a memorial service will be held for the singer in Tulsa.
The Grand Ole Opry also tweeted out their condolences, writing, “Roy, thank you for always spreading laughter, kindness, and positivity.

Naomi Judd, iconic country star and one-half of the mother-daughter duo The Judds, took her own life on Saturday following a longtime battle with mental illness at 76 years old, multiple sources confirm. A rep for the late singer hasn’t commented.
An additional statement from Naomi’s husband of 32 years, Larry Strickland, read: “Naomi Judd’s family request privacy during this heartbreaking time. No additional information will be released at this time.

Thecountry musicsingers got engaged on Sept. 2 while the Nashville-based pair was visiting Raystown Lake in Taylor’s hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
“We always vacation there around that time with her family. What Ali didn’t know was that this time I had been talking with her family, and mine, to plan a proposal,” Wayne tells PEOPLE.
