Tim Rothand his family are mourning sonCormac Rothafter his death at age 25.
On Monday, the Roth family announced that “we lost our beautiful boy Cormac after a courageous battle with cancer” on Sunday, Oct. 16.
The Roth family described Cormac as “a wild and electric ball of energy” whose spirit “was filled with light and goodness.”
“As wild as he was, Cormac was also the embodiment of kindness,” the statement continued.

Ready-to-eat salads sold at Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Whole Foods and 7-Eleven are being recalled due to possiblesalmonella and listeria contamination.
On Wednesday,the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Serviceannounced more than 2,800 pounds of the salads may have been compromised from food suppliers GHSE, Prime Deli Corporation, Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods, Inc., and GH Foods CA.
Each of these salads contains corn that has potentially been contaminated and the products were all produced earlier this month.

ACornell Universitystudent is accused of using the internet to threaten to rape and kill Jewish students on campus, federal authorities allege in apress release.
Patrick Dai, 21, a junior at the Ithaca, N.Y., school, was arrested Tuesday and charged with posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York says.
In that same post, Dai said he would “bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all” Jewish students, according to authorities.

Cornell University is investigating a recent rash of drug-laced drinks and at least one sexual assault.
The Ivy League school announced Monday that they have temporarily suspended all fraternity social events after the alleged “drugging of at least four students” at off-campus residences affiliated with Greek life, as well as the sexual assault of another student.
“These incidents reportedly occurred at off-campus residences affiliated with registered fraternities,” they added.
