Prince Philip’s will is stored inside a secret London safe along with those of 32 other senior members of the royal family, it was revealed Thursday.
The strongbox – which is in the care of High Court judge Sir Andrew McFarlane at the Royal Courts of Justice – holds a unique selection of royal wills dating back to Prince Francis of Teck in 1911.
This includes the final wishes ofQueen Elizabeth’s mother, the late Queen Mother, her sisterPrincess Margaret, and her uncle the Duke of Windsor (also known as King Edward VIII), who abdicated the British throne in December 1936, McFarlane revealed Thursday.

Contigo has recalled millions of water bottles for posing a potential choking hazard to children, according to theUnited States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
On Tuesday, the agency revealed that the Chicago-based company has recalled their Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles after they received 149 reports of the spout detaching from the bottle, with 18 of those cases reporting that the spouts were found in children’s mouths.

The preparation forNASCAR’sChicago Street Race Weekendhad a tragic ending.
The stock-car racing organization confirmed in a statement toThe Daily Heraldthat a contractor, later identified as Duane Tabinski of Hermitage, Tennessee, died while setting up for the festival on Friday. Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner confirmed the contractor’s identity to theChicago Sun-Times.
“On Friday afternoon, a contractor suffered a fatal medical emergency,” NASCAR said in a statement to theDaily Heraldand theChicago Sun-Times.
