Death Becomes Heris coming back to life!
The 1992 cult classic is getting the stage musical treatment, set toopen at the Cadillac Palace Theatrein Chicago next year for a pre-Broadway run from April 30 to June 2.
Megan Hiltywill star as an actress named Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streepin the movie version) and Jennifer Simard will play her frenemy, an author named Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawnin the film).

In the early hours of Feb. 15, 2020, officers found 38-year-old Hollywood sex therapistAmie Harwickmortally wounded after allegedly being thrown over the third-story balcony of her Hollywood home.
It was determined that Harwick — who was once engaged toPrice is RightstarDrew Carey— died of blunt force injuries to her head and torso. There was also evidence of manual strangulation and a struggle and forced entry inside the home.

It was like a scene straight out of a Broadway play.
After receiving a 911 call about a “disorderly person” at the W. 44th St. Hudson Theatre on Tuesday night around 9 p.m., the NYPD went to the scene, a department spokesperson tells PEOPLE. The police escorted the woman from the theater, and no arrests where made.
“We’re grateful to the entire team at the Hudson Theatre for working together to resolve the situation and resume the performance as quickly as possible,” the producers of the show tell PEOPLE in a statement about the incident.

Gal Gadot’sDeath on the Nilereportedly won’t be hitting theaters in Lebanon or Kuwait.
Neither country will be playing the upcoming Disney movie due to their objections to Gadot’s past 2-year service in the Israeli military, according toDeadline.
Gadot, 36, who was born in Israel, served in her native country’s military prior to becoming a model and actress — as all citizens are required to do.

A new trailer forDeath on the Nileshows glimpses ofArmie Hammer’s performance completed prior to the actor’s controversy.
Hammer, 35, plays a newlywed, Simon Doyle, alongside Gadot’s Linnet Ridgeway Doyle, in the film. Branagh’s detective Hercule Poirot is tasked with finding the murderer of a young heiress aboard a cruise ship on the Nile River.
Throughout the 2-minute trailer, Hammer can be seen in glimpses with only one speaking line shown in the trailer.
