On Thursday, police responded to a home in Westport after receiving reports of an unresponsive female. There is no known motive for the 46-year-old mom’s actions. The obituary describes the girl as possessing “a sweetness that truly captivated people.” It continues: “She brought smiles, laughter, and happiness to all around her.

Conn. Granddaughter Found Covered in Blood at Double Murder Scene in Her Grandma's Apartment

Harlee Swols, 22, is charged with violation of a protective order and two counts of murder in the death of her grandmother, 72-year-old Maryrose Riach, and her grandmother’s boyfriend, 63-year-old James Samuel Bell, the Enfield Police Departmentstated in a release. Both victims suffered large lacerations on their neck, and several additional sharp force injuries and defensive wounds were discovered during autopsies, the report says.

Conn. Judge Finds Alex Jones Liable in Sandy Hook Defamation Suits

The decision means that a jury will determine what damages Jones owes the plaintiffs. A hearing to determine damages will happen in 2022. “What’s clear from Judge Bellis’s ruling is that Alex Jones and the Jones defendants have engaged in a long, continuous course of misconduct in this case designed to prevent the plaintiffs from getting evidence about Mr Jones' business and about his motives for publishing lies about them and their families,” said Christopher Mattei, the lawyer representing the victims' relatives, after Monday’s ruling.

On Dec. 2, Christine Holloway, 43, was found dead in her home in Ansonia. Her daughter, Vanessa Morales, was nowhere to be found, prompting police to issue an Amber Alert. But on Friday, police arrested Holloway’s boyfriend, Jose Morales, 43, of New Haven, who is the child’s father.
