The Republican senator whoDr. Anthony Faucicalled a “moron” on a hot mic last week is now trying to profitoff the viral moment— selling shirts that show an image of the infectious disease expert, alongside the word “MORON.”
The release of the merchandise comes a week after Fauci, 81, was caught calling out Sen. Roger Marshall during a Senate hearing that grew heated as Marshall questioned Fauci about his finances (incorrectly, Fauci said).

Congressman-elect Gabe Amo made history on Tuesday, winning his bid for Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District seat and becoming the first Black candidate elected to represent the state in Congress.
But 35-year-old Amo, the son of Ghanaian and Liberian immigrants, tells PEOPLE he never set out to become a “first.”
“I didn’t do this to build up my profile or to be a bold face in history,” Amo tells PEOPLE.

Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib vowed last week that incoming lawmakers were going to impeach President Donald Trump, whom she referred to as a “motherf—–” — a profane announcement that kicked up a swirl of headlines.
Tlaib is sorry for the distraction her comment caused, but she’s standing firm on the words and enthusiasm that she used.
“I’m very passionate about fighting for us, excited, and it got the best of me,”she told TMZin a story published Wednesday.
