'Deadliest Catch' 's Edgar Hansen Admits Sexually Abusing 16-Year-Old Girl

Deadliest Catchcostar Edgar Hansen on Friday admitted sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl last fall — touching her genitals and making her touch him in return — PEOPLE confirms. In exchange for his plea to fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation, Hansen, 47, was given a suspended sentence of 364 days in jail, meaning he will not spend time behind bars. He also received two years’ probation and various fees and fines totaling $1,653, with an additional $4,800 fine suspended, court records show.

'Deadliest Catch' 's Sig Hansen Given Probation, $43 Fine After Pleading Guilty to Uber Assault

After pleading guilty in May forassaulting an Uber driver,Deadliest Catchstar Sig Hansen was put on probation and given a deferred sentence. On Thursday, Seattle Municipal Court Judge Ed McKenna handed down the ruling, stipulating that Hansen, 52, must pay a $43 fine, abstain from drugs and alcohol until June 27, 2019, and not have any contact or come within 500 feet of the Uber driver, according to court records. In addition being on probation until June 27, 2019, Hansen has already attended a chemical dependency assessment and treatment evaluation.
