A homebuyer in Colorado has found herself in a nightmare of a situation.
As she was unpacking one day, she noticed her dog “started walking” very slowly.
“I came over to see what he was looking at, thinking it was like a spider or something, and there were two little holes right here and I saw snakes slither up the wall,” she told the outlet.
Unfortunately, since first finding the first snake about two weeks ago, she’s found ten more slithering around, per the outlet.

Photo:John Greim/LightRocket via GettyA 26-year-old woman from Colorado died after a nearly 500-foot fall in Rocky Mountain National Park over the weekend.The victim, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin, was free-solo climbing on the Four Acres of Blitzen Ridge on Ypsilon Mountain on the park’s east side on Sunday, park officials said in anews release.Her 27-year-old climbing partner, also from Colorado, notified park rangers about the fall, and Rocky Mountain National Park Search and Rescue Team members were able to reach him Sunday night, park officials said.

Prior to her amputation surgery in October,Jordan “Jo” Beckwithdecided to write a “break-up” note to her limb — an experience she said was “cathartic.”
“The day before [the surgery], I wrote a break-up to my ankle…it was super cathartic,” she told PEOPLE, adding that her friend, mother, and husband also penned notes to her limb.
Beckwith’s note, which was written on the top part of her ankle, read: “Dear ankle, it’s not me, it’s you.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is searching for a small black bear that entered an 82-year-old woman’s home and scratched her on Friday. Once found, the bear will be euthanized.
TheCPW said in a press releasethat the bear, which is believed to be either a cub or a yearling due to its size, broke into the residence near Boncarbo, west of Trinidad, shortly after midnight.

The calf — whose sex, vitals and name are yet to be announced — is the first hippo born at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in 32 years. Staff estimates the animal weighs between 40 and 80 lbs., typical of a newborn, and they plan to name it on its 1-month birthday.
Nile hipposare currently listedas “vulnerable” to extinction in the wild, so the birth is extra meaningful to the species.
