She then covered the infant’s mouth, carried the child downstairs to the back deck and threw her into the backyard of a neighbor, according to the DA’s office.
The neighbor discovered the child that night at 9:48 p.m.

Homeowners might expect to find chipmunks, rabbits, and raccoonsliving under their decks, but a Boulder, Colorado family was shocked to discover something a bit larger living near their house.
According toa release from Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), a pet dog found a wild mountain lion lying down beneath the deck of a Boulder home on Sunday. In response to the discovery, the pooch’s family contacted the authorities for help handling the animal.

Heartbreaking new details have been revealed about the final moments of a Colorado pilot, who tragically died earlier this week while battlingthe Kruger Rock Fire.
Ina post on FacebookWednesday, Colorado Fire Aviation announced that tanker pilot Marc Thor Olson died in the line of duty on Tuesday evening.
“Marc Thor Olson was a highly decorated veteran of both the Army and Air Force with 32 years of service to our country,” they wrote.

A professional mixed martial arts fighter is facing criminal charges in Colorado after allegedly punching his wife in the face during an argument about their young son that police claim unfolded before the boy, PEOPLE confirms.
Josh Copeland, 36, a former UFC fighter who was recently affiliated with the Professional Fighting League, was arrested on Feb. 2 on second-degree assault, domestic violence and child abuse charges after allegedly striking his wife following a shoving match between the two.

A suspect is in custody in connection to a rural Coloradoshootingthat left three people dead and one wounded following a suspected property dispute.
During apress conference, Custer County Sheriff Rich Smith said a woman believed to be the suspect’s girlfriend was found “in the vehicle at the time,” and investigators are working to determine her involvement.
Clark surrendered peacefully after a 25-hour manhunt had begun on Monday, Smith said.
