Clear The Shelters Saves 167 Shelter Pets With Rescue Flight to Kick Off 2021 Adoption Campaign

Clear the Sheltershas helped more than 550,000 petsfind homes and raised over $1.2 million for rescues and shelters since 2015. To get a head start on saving lives this year, NBCUniversal Local, Greater Good Charities, The Animal Rescue Site, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition partnered for a Clear the Shelters rescue flight.

According to an NBCUniversal release, NBCUniversal Local is bringing back its nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign for its eighth consecutive year. Clear the Shelters sees NBC and Telemundo owned and affiliated stations partner with local animal shelters and rescues to promote pet adoption and raise funds for animal welfare initiatives. Clear the Shelters 2022 will kick off on August 1 and run through August 31.
