The director, known for movies like 1993’sFire In the Skyand 1996’sD3: The Mighty Ducks, died Saturday, July 1, in Los Angeles after a cancer battle, according toDeadline. His son Nick Lieberman, who co-directed and co-wrote thenew movieTheater Camp, remembered his dad on Instagram Monday, sharingthrowback family photos. Looked back in the hole and you could see teeth.
