Dolly Partonis no longer interested in touring her music on a large scale.
The country music icon, 76, expressed that she has “no intention of going on a full-blown tour anymore” in an interview with concert trade publicationPollstar.
“I’ve done that my whole life,” Parton said of touring, also noting how traveling around the globe to promote her music “takes so much time and energy.”
Parton has had a busy year, and added to the publication that she wants to spend more time with her husband.

“Well, you know I love all the Christmas songs," the country legend, 78, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I love the fast ones, I love the slow ones.”
“I love ‘Silent Night’ and ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem,’ but then I love ‘Rudolph’ and all of those fun things,” she continues. “I just love all of that.”
