AsPEOPLE previously reported, the couple filed the civil suit in September 2023 after they claimed Dr. Gates intentionally posted images of their deceased infant to Instagram without permission. He was hired to perform an autopsy on the child, who died while Ross was in delivery.
Per the court documents, Dr. Gates and MDC failed to file answers to Ross and Taylor’s complaint and must pay damages.

The doctor involved in clearing Tua Tagovailoa after theMiami Dolphins' Sept. 25 gameagainst the Buffalo Bills has been fired, league sources confirm to PEOPLE.
ESPNand theNFL Networkfirst reported that the NFL Player’s Association (NFLPA) has fired the doctor, an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant, after they were found to have made “several mistakes” in their evaluation of Tagovailoa.
On Monday, a league source confirmed to PEOPLE that the NFLPA exercised its right to fire the doctor.

A New York City doctor died shortly after eating a meal at a Disney World restaurant that was not allergen-free, according to a wrongful death lawsuit.
On Oct. 5, Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan, a physician at NYU Langone Hospital, was having dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub in the park’s Disney Springs area with her husband, Jeffrey Piccolo, and his mother.
The waiter reportedly confirmed with the chef that Tangsuan’s meal could be made allergen free.
