Steven Gress, 35, and Michelle Brandes, 37, are both charged with first-degree in murder and kidnapping in connection with the death of Miranda Corsette, according to Pinellas County court records.
Police alleged that Gress used a dating app to lure Corsette to his home in St. Petersburg on Feb. 14.
In an arrest affidavit, police allege that Gress and Brandes held Corsette captive for seven days and repeatedly beat her.

Florida authorities investigating thefatal shootings of three peoplehave revealed information on the circumstances surrounding the crime.
The victims — 34-year-old Mary Gingles, her father, 64-year-old David Ponzer, and their neighbor, 36-year-old Andrew Ferrin — were all found fatally shot across their two homes in Tamarac, Fla., on Sunday, Feb. 16, theBroward County Sheriff’s Officepreviously said.
Gingles’ 4-year-old daughter, Seraphine Gingles, had briefly been missing before she was found in North Lauderdale along with her father Nathan Gingles, who was Mary’s estranged husband.
