A cat commonly found on African savannas was recently discovered on a farm in the Ozark Mountains.
After six months of noticing a “crazy-looking cat” on his property, a farmer in Ava, Missouri, live-trapped the creature and found out it was a female, 30-Lb. African serval cat.
According tothe Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, the farmer cared for the serval cat — feeding the animal and taking it to a local vet — before contacting the authorities and the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, located about two hours south in Arkansas, for help.

Jawad first shared her recipe on TikTok earlier this month, and the video now has over 550,000 likes and nearly 5 million views. She’s also inspired dozens of other food TikTokers to try out creamy lemonade.

Iconic horror movie actress Julie Adams, who starred as Kay Lawrence inCreature from the Black Lagoon, has died. She was 92.
Adams died early Sunday morning in Los Angeles, her son Mitchell Dantonconfirmed toThe Hollywood Reporter.
She rose to fame as the woman who wore a white, one-piece bathing suit to take a dip in a lagoon in the 1954 film as the Gill-man beneath copied her every movie.

Ricou Browning, best known for portraying Gill-Man in the 1954 filmCreature from the Black Lagoon,died earlier this week of natural causes, according toTheHollywood Reporter.He was 93.
“He had a fabulous career in the film industry, providing wonderful entertainment for past and future generations,” the actor’s daughter Kim Browning toldTHR, confirming his death.
In addition to donning the Gill-Man suit for the underwater scenes inBlack Lagoonand its 1955 and 1956 sequels, Browning also worked on several other Hollywood productions in various roles.
