Danielle Fishelis giving fans an update on the condition of her newborn son after he was born one month early.
“We’re still in the hospital but Adler is getting better and stronger every day,” Fishel, 38,wrote alongside a close-up photo of her son’s onesiethat read “I love pasta” — seemingly a gift from Olive Garden, who previously sent the starthree pairs of customized sneakersfor her family.
“@jensenkarp and I keep reminding ourselves that we are extremely lucky – Adler will eventually come home with us – and therefore this is nothing but an enormous test of our patience and willingness to relinquish control,” Fishel continued.

According to the new mom, every time she tries to take a photo ofher three-month-old son Adler, her dog insists on being the star of the shot.
“Brunch is used to being the only member of the family, and Brunch thinks that all pictures involve Brunch, should be of Brunch, about Brunch, so I would say that at least seventy precent of my pictures of my son, Brunch is somewhere weaseling his way into the picture,” Fishel told PEOPLE on the red carpet pf the 2019American Humane Hero Dog Awardsin Beverly Hills, Calif.

Explaining why it took her so long to share her harrowing story — or even post a photo of her child — the mother of two wrote that she just needed a little time to herself.
During the delivery, Harris had a “horrible eclampsia seizure on the operating table” and “blacked out,” missing the birth of her son.
