A vehicle failed to yield and turned in front of another vehicle, which caused the crash.

Several NFL teams are doing their part to help support the victims of last week’s deadly mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
On Wednesday, four days after22 people were killedin a mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, the Houston Texans announced that they’re joining forces with the NFL Foundation, the league’s non-profit charitable organization, to “donate $100,000to the El Paso Victims’ Fund – El Paso Community Foundation.

Jurors on Thursday returned a guilty verdict for capital murder against Kristopher Love, the 34-year-old manwho fatally shot Texas pediatric dentist Kendra Hatcherin 2015.
PEOPLE confirms with a Dallas County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman that Love faces two potential punishments when he is sentenced on Monday: life in prison or death.
A trial date has not been set for Delgado, who has pleaded not guilty to one count of capital murder.

While tortoises are known for being slow, that didn’t stop this Dallas family’s pet from a speedy recovery after being thrown out a window during a tornado.
The Folmnsbee family called themselves “blessed” after multiple storms and tornadoes hit North Texas on Oct. 20 and the most damage their home sustained was in their son Owen’s room, Dallas television stationWFAAreported.
However, irreversible damage was almost done when the tornado caused Owen’s pet tortoise, Bolt, and the animal’s cage to be ripped off a dresser and out the 10-year-old’s bedroom window, leading the family to believe that Bolt did not survive the fall.
