Drew Barrymoreknows a good romcom when she sees it!

“We made such a good movie,” she said in the video, through tears. “I love you so much [Adam Sandler]. Happy New Year.”

AfterThe Wedding Singer, Sandler and Barrymore went on to star together in two more romantic comedies:50 First Dates(2004) andBlended(2014).

As for a potentialWedding Singerreunion, Barrymore teased toEntertainment Tonightahead of the movie’s 25th anniversary last year that she and Sandler were “talking about it.”

“I think it’s time too. We’re looking. We’re definitely actively looking,” she added.

Recalling Sandler’s then-recentappearance on her talk show, Barrymore toldET, “We did talk about how we were like, ‘Oh it’s coming up on 10 years.’ "

“We talked about some ideas and we’re definitely in. It’s percolating,” she said.
