TheQueen of Christmas title may be up for debate, butDorinda Medleyis undoubtedly the Queen of Christmas Decorating.

The reality star, 59, has been known for going all out when decking the halls of herBerkshires home, Blue Stone Manor, as seen during her time onThe Real Housewives of New York City. So it’s not a surprise she struggles to pick a favorite.

“There’s so many good ones, how can we just pull out one?” Medley asks PEOPLE while promoting her appearance onReal Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which is now streaming on Peacock.

Still, Medley highlights some classic decor pieces she has acquired over the years, including a dove ornament that her mother gave her when she was 18 years old. “I always take that out and put it on the tree,” she says. “Remember when they used to put the dates on the ornaments the year that you got it? I was given the dove in ‘81 or something. So it’s not really the holidays without it.”

“But I also really, really love my wreaths that I put out. I’m a big wreath person, and I think that just signifies for me that the holidays are here — the welcoming wreaths,” Medley adds. “And I think my gingerbread candy houses are pretty outstanding. And I like my dancing Santa too.“Never miss a story — sign up forPEOPLE’s free daily newsletterto stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

This year, Medley explains that she did not decorate her iconic East Coast residence for the holidays as early as she normally does.

“I did not get my Christmas decorations up at Blue Stone Manor early like I usually do this year. I only put them up during the second weekend of December,” she says. “Can you imagine? It’s a disappointment.”

“I have not been up in the Berkshires to do that at all, I have been so crazy in the city, and I just didn’t have the time,” Medley continues. “But I hired five people to come help me get it all done. That’s how many people it takes.”

Adds theBravostar: “I don’t just put up one tree, I put up multiple trees. So it takes a village — a literal Christmas village!”

“I never thought I would keep Blue Stone Manor for as long as I did,” she admits. “After [my late husband]Richardpassed, I was convinced I was going to sell it. My mother said, ‘Wait a year! Don’t do anything when you’re in this state.’ So I really thought I’d get rid of it, because for me, Blue Stone Manor was something I bought with Richard and a place for Richard to retire to. I never thought I’d live here alone. I just didn’t see a place for it in my day-to-day after his death.”

“The Bravo viewers have really just embraced it thanks toRHONYandRHUGT,” she adds. “It really is the ‘Disneyland of Housewives.’ "
