According to the Corona Police Department’s social media post about the incident, the deer had an eventful day before entering the store.

The statement added, “Corona Animal Control officers arrived, took custody of the deer, and safely released him back into the wild.”

In the comment section, many of  the  Corona Police Department’s followers couldn’t help but see the humor of the incident, making jokes about the deer wanting to do “Christmas shopping for Santa and Mrs. Claus” and entering the store “without a membership.”

“Leave the homie Rudolph alone 🦌,” one person commented, while another added, “I don’t understand how they let them in without a membership. They’re so crazy about not letting you in if you don’t show your membership card. How did they let them in?”
