Dan Stevenshas fond memories of working with the lateAngus Cloud.
TheDowntown Abbeyalum, 41, opened up about what it was like filming the horror filmAbigailwith the late actor, who died at the age of 25 following anaccidental overdosein August 2023.
“He was such a sweetheart, man,” Stevens said in an interview withEntertainment Tonight.
“I’ve never met anyone like him and, you know, he was like all of our little brother on set,” he recalled, referring to his fellow castmembers on the film includingMelissa Barrera,Kathryn Newton,Alisha Weir, Kevin Durand and Will Catlett.
“It was obviously heartbreaking to lose him,” Stevens added. “I really hope that people enjoy his performance. I thought he was absolutely terrific in the movie and it was a joy getting to work with him.”
Cloud had wrapped his work on the movie — which marks one of his final appearances on screen — prior to his death,Varietyreported. However, it had been delayed due to theScreen Actors Guild strike.

Cloud, who rose to prominence playing the character Fezco in HBO’sEuphoria, had begun starring in more films before his death. He appeared inFreaky Tales, also starringPedro Pascal, released earlier this year andYour Lucky DayandThe Line, released last year.
