Couple Went as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for Halloween in 2020 — and Their Caption Aged Perfectly

A couple who went asTaylor SwiftandTravis KelceforHalloweenin 2020 appear to have predicted the celebrity pair’s future connection.

In apostshared on Oct. 31, 2020,Instagram user Makayla Stephensand her husband Nick Stephens had dressed up as the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end — and the accompanying caption has aged perfectly.

“I don’t know any world in which Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce would be in the same room together, but apparently in this one they’re married? #HappyHalloween,” wrote Makayla at the time.

The postresurfaced this week on X,thanks to news of Swift and Kelce’s rumored romance, and many social media users couldn’t help but comment on the picture in light of recent events.

“Insane,” added a third.

Swift and Kelce, both 33, made headlines on Sunday when the pop starsupportedthe sportsman during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.

The “Cruel Summer” singerjoined Kelce’s mother,Donna Kelce, in the tight end’s suite at the Arrowhead Stadium and was spotted enthusiastically cheering.

“Man, that was a crazy game,” Travis told his brother and co-host, Philadelphia Eagles centerJason Kelce. “It was just action-packed,” he said and called the game “exciting” for more reasons than just the Chiefs’ win.

“Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Travis continued of the megastar, adding, “She looked amazing.”

Travis also commented on seeing Swiftcelebrate his win— and his touchdown — alongside his mom. “To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with Mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there — that s— was absolutely hysterical and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure,” he said.

The NFL star also revealed that Swift made quite the impression on his friends and family. “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family,” he said, adding that “everybody was talking about her in great light.”

The source said that the duo “showed up together and were cute and normal, just hanging out and chatting,” adding that it’s “super, super early days,” for the pair.

“They’re having fun and getting to know each other,” they said.
