Christine and the Queens Cancels Remaining 2023 Tour Dates Due to Illness

Christine and the Queenswill no longer carry out his tour as planned.
The musician posted an image of text that said, “CHRISTINE AND THE QUEENS REMAINING 2023 TOUR DATES CANCELED,” revealing more context in the following slide and in the caption.
“The tour was scheduled to resume tonight in Montreal and end in Paris in late November,” the notice continued, announcing refunds will be available upon point of purchase.
In addition to the canceled tour opener in Montreal, the “People, I’ve Been Sad” artist will no longer play his scheduled shows in Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., Toronto and Chicago. Additional European dates in Utrecht, Netherlands and across France will also not go on.
No additional details about Red’s health were shared at this time.
Paranoïa, Angels, True Lovearrived less than a year after Christine and the Queens’ third album,Redcar les adorables étoiles (prologue), was released in November 2022.

He had been on the road supporting the album since late May. After playing a handful of festivals, the “Titled” singer set out on a European and U.K. tour from August through mid-September. Christine and the Queens’ remaining tour dates were supposed to last from mid-October until the end of the month, and then resume again in November.
The singer-songwriter shared a statement in a press release aboutParanoïa, Angels, True Loveupon its announcement earlier this year, saying he pulled a great deal of inspiration from Tony Kushner’s playAngels in America.
“Paranoïa, Angels, True Loveis a key towards heart-opening transformation, a prayer towards the self—the one that breathes through all the loves it is made of,” he said.
