Chrissy Teigen Tattoos Lyrics from Husband John Legend's Sexy Song 'Ooh Laa' Down Her Spine

The model and cookbook author, 35, recently tattooed the lyrics “Ooh Laa” from a song off her husband’s seventh studio albumBigger Lovedown her spine. She documented the process — and Legend’s sweet reaction — in a three-minute video posted on Instagram Tuesday, tagging LA tattoo artist Daniel Winter (akaWinter Stone) in the caption.

“ooooooooh la. shoowap shoowap,” Teigen wrote alongside the clip.

Teigen’s new ink features thin cursive lettering down her spine, and she used theDoctor Rogers RESTORE Healing Balmto preserve the design and heal her skin after her session, according to a Doctor Rogers press release.

Most of the video consists of footage of her new tattoo, but about halfway through, Legend asks his wife if she remembers the first time she heard the sentimental track.

“I don’t remember! I remember the first time I heard “All of Me,” I remember the first time I heard…honestly, most of your songs. But not this one.”

Legends says the couple were in their bedroom the first time he played the song for Teigen, joking, “We had to test run it. Make sure it worked. It worked.”

“We actually played it on repeat the first time,” he adds. “It was a good conversation starter.”

Teigen’s followers swooned over the romantic clip in the comment section, with one person writing, “We all just tryna live that John and Chrissy love. 😩😭♥️”

“Beautiful—all of it ♥️” another Instagram user said. “I absolutely love this! U guys have a love like no other and it’s so inspiring! ♥️” a third person added.

Winter Stone shared a black-and-white photo of Teigen lifting up her hair to show off the new ink. “OOOOH LAAAA,” he captioned the post. “@chrissyteigen@johnlegendwhat a blessing to honor Chrissy with this ooh laa tattoo down her spine! John wrote this sexy song for her so naturally she should have it tattooed on her right?!!! And if you haven’t heard BIGGER LOVE John’s new album: listen it’s so good!”

For the birthday event, Teigen fully committed to the hosting role wearing a sequin red gown and holding a sparkly silver microphone. TheCravingscookbook author also twinned with good friend and Rosenthal’s wife, celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, for the occasion.

As theJeopardy!theme music played in the background, Teigen told the camera in the first of a series of videos onher Instagram Story, “For John’s birthday, we created the ultimate math-off competition. John and Mike love doing math,” she joked.

The lighthearted celebration comes after a difficult past few months for the couple,who lost their son Jack after 20 weeks of pregnancyin September. (Legend and Teigen are also parents to sonMiles, 2, and daughterLuna, 4.)

Teigen shared aphotograph of herself on Instagramlast month, where she candidly spoke about her body, mourning that she will never be pregnant again following the loss of her son.

“This is me and my body, just yesterday. Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been,” theLip Sync Battlehost wrote. “And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating.”

Then, noting that she is “proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways,” Teigen added, “I love being pregnant, so so much, andI’m sad I never will be again.”

“But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day,” she said.
